Seen in the wild: Corrugated Metal Siding

Posted on 1/16/2013 by Maggie Marystone in inspiration corrugated metal

During a recent trip to Colorado, Brad and I came across some corrugated metal siding in its natural habitat: industrial buildings. I never really noticed metal siding before we decided to use it on our own house, but now I see it everywhere I go. Here are a couple buildings we saw in Englewood, Colorado.

There's something beautiful about corrugated metal siding on industrial buildings. It's simple, practical, and unassuming.

Corrugated metal can take a beating. Did I hear you say you don't need that door/window anymore? Patch it up with more corrugated metal!

We've got a fair amount of siding left over from the construction of the house and garage. To brainstorm, I've created a Corrugated Metal Siding board on Pinterest

Have you seen corrugated metal used in interesting ways? Let me know in the comments below.
